Are You Tempted? 

We are all tempted and God tells us He will give us a way of escape. Here are seven things to do before you are tempted to help you when temptation comes. Listen to the podcast for more information.

How to Avoid Giving In: 

  1. Know your boundaries and limits and be living them out on a daily basis.  
  2. Have a healthy alternative available. 
  3. Plan for temptation.
  4. Train others, especially those you live with, in how to help you. 
  5. Don’t eat beyond your boundaries just to make someone else feel better. 
  6. Realize your body is the temple of God. 
  7. Join a group of people committed to living a healthy lifestyle journey with God’s help.

1 Cor. 10:13 TPT says it this way: We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust Him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.”
