There’s so much noise in the world.

Too many words telling me how to think.

Soon my mind is no longer mine

And I am buried in others’ words.

I begin to spit out what I hear

Without asking what He thinks,

The One who is Wisdom Himself.

Is there a way to make us all powerful?

Who is right and who is wrong?

Maybe we all have the power to be right.

Wisdom tells us if we talk nonstop,

We’re sure to say something wrong.

Power comes from listening to God

Who is always speaking truth.

We cannot use words as weapons

But use them to bring love, joy, hope and encouragement.

Love for others flows out of wisdom.

It is not just giving, but giving in wisdom.

It’s giving out of what betters, not what enslaves.

It is telling others of the power available to them.

“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.”

2 Cor. 4:7 TPT

Our handouts are not the answer to empower others.

Our generosity should be given freely, though,

Without thought of what we might get back

Only so others have the ability to live and love.

There is much wisdom in training.

We have collective wisdom.

We can teach, counsel, coach and educate others

For a better world tomorrow.

But first, we must learn for ourselves

How to work together to empower each other.

We must learn the importance of encouraging.

We must learn how to honor all people.

It all starts and ends with using the power given by God.

I can teach one and then another who teaches others.

When Our Creator breathes on those dreams

They are multiplied and fill the whole earth by the power of One.
