Freedom Seminar helped Jenny Parker make some life-changing decisions.

“The seminar is intrapersonal and interpersonal at the same time.  That’s what makes it unique. I found myself changing when I was helping someone else.  That cemented the fact for me that I want to do this for the rest of my life. I want to help people.”

Jenny Parker, left, with a student in Vietnam.

After the seminar, she changed her major to psychology and transferred to a different university.

Before the seminar, she says she felt she had to finish college before impacting the world.  “But I discovered I don’t have to wait until later to be me. I can live a fulfilled life now.”    The seminar gave her the courage and confidence to teach English as a second language in Vietnam last summer.

“Before I wouldn’t have even looked at the possibility of doing something like this. There was fear in going, but Freedom gave me the tools to work through that.  I thought, ‘OK, this is what I’m afraid of, now I can do something about it and move on.’”
